Bubble Jug was a 90s gum that came in a jug-shaped container that resembled a miniature milk carton; and, as you might imagine, it was a huge hit with kids.
Bubble Jug presented gum chewers with a unique way to enjoy their favorite treat because the gum came out as a powder gum that could be poured out and then turned into a chewable paste with the addition of a bit of water.
Bubble Jug gum was available in a range of flavors, which kids loved to mix and match to customize to their liking. It might not have been the most convenient way to enjoy 90s gum, but it was one of the most unique.

You see, each piece of Freshen Up Gum came filled with a delicious juicy gel that would explode in your mouth as you chewed, leaving behind a fresh and icy sensation that lasted for hours.

Chiclets
Chiclets are one of the biggest brands of chewing gum in the world, and they were one of the most popular bubble gum brands in the 90s.

This variation of Hubba Bubba called Bubble Blast was known for unleashing an explosion of flavor in your mouth. The 90s chewing gum aficionados knew Bubble Blast as not for the faint of heart due to its intense and long-lasting taste.

Ouch! Bubble Gum was very fruity and sweet, with flavors like grape, watermelon, and strawberry appealing to those with a legitimate sweet tooth.
But what makes Ouch! Bubble Gum truly stands out is its clever packaging. Both the sticks of gum inside and the exterior packaging were designed to look like a tin of band-aids, complete with colorful designs and funny sayings like “Kiss it better”.
This novelty packaging and unique design made it a popular choice among kids in the 90s.
Big Red
Finally, we could not end this list of the best bubble gum from the 90s without mentioning Big Red.
Big Red offered a spicy and unique taste experience due to its very strong cinnamon flavor. Big Red was both very hot and very, making it a favorite among cinnamon lovers in the 90s.
The gum was bold and its distinct flavor made it stand out from other gums on the market. It was also very long-lasting and while it wasn’t the best gum for blowing bubbles due to its “hard” chew, it was still one of the most popular gums at the time.
