And yet, every so often, they can feature a host of unique design elements and capabilities that make them just as distinctive as those who wield them in battle.

Rey’s Yellow Lightsaber (The Rise Of Skywalker)
Say what you want about the sequel trilogy, but there is no denying that it gave us something truly unique in the form of Rey’s yellow-bladed lightsaber (from Amazon).
Seen briefly at the end of The Rise Of Skywalker, it was forged from parts of her quarterstaff and stands out from the majority thanks to its one-of-a-kind yellow blade – the first to be seen in a live-action Star Wars movie.
While most Jedi wield a blue or green lightsaber, Rey’s unique design choice makes her weapon instantly recognizable amidst an order where the variety was rare.
Tera Sinube’s Cane Lightsaber (The Clone Wars)
Perhaps the most versatile lightsaber in the Star Wars universe, Tera Sinube’s cane lightsaber is unique and tailored made to fit his needs.
Seen in The Clone Wars animated series, it is mostly used as an aid to help the aged Jedi Master get around. However, hidden within the shaft is a kyber crystal blade more than capable of holding its own in even the most dire of situations.
A solitary design choice that has yet to be seen again, Master Sinube’s blade stands out as something rather memorable from the waning days of the Republic.
Ezra Bridger’s Blaster-Hilted Lightsaber (Rebels)
Built by a young Ezra Bridger while under the tutelage of Kanan Jarrus during the earliest days of the Rebellion, this hybrid weapon (from Amazon) featured a blue blade amalgamated into a hilt that doubled as a blaster pistol!
Definitely one of a kind, this was a weapon as distinctive and unique as its maker.
Sadly, it would end up being destroyed during a battle with Darth Vader, forcing Ezra to craft something a little more traditional before the series would end.
Ahsoka Tano’s White Lightsabers (Rebels)
One of the most popular characters to come out of the Star Wars franchise, Ahsoka Tano gets a spot on this list for being one of the few Force users to wield two uniquely colored lightsabers in battle.
Debuting in the Season 1 finale of Star Wars Rebels before transitioning to live-action in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka’s white lightsabers (from Amazon), each featuring a uniquely curved hilt, were both created using kyber crystals taken from the Sixth Brother that were later purified with the Force.
According to series creator Dave Filoni, the choice to give Ahsoka white-bladed lightsabers was made to reflect her non-affiliation with the Jedi or Sith.

With a damaged kyber crystal at its core, Ren’s intimidating weapon features one of the most memorable appearances in the franchise in addition to offering up an unforgettable visual representation of the inner torment roiling within Ben Solo.
Kouru’s Parasol Lightsaber (Visions)
Just when you thought you’d seen in all, Star Wars: Visions sprung this little number on us.
Wielded by Sith Lord Kouru in The Duel, this weapon’s unique parasol design is easily one of the most creative saber ideas to come out of the franchise to date.
Featuring a single-bladed hilt with an extension that affords its user multiple red blades in battle, it’s the sort of thing you wouldn’t want to find yourself up against – no matter what part of the galaxy you may be from.
Yeah, technically it’s not canon. But, who cares? This thing is downright awesome, no matter how you… ahem, slice it!
The Inquisitor’s Double-Bladed Spinning Lightsaber (Rebels)
It’s got two blades. It spins. And, it can even be used as a mode of transportation. Whether we’re talking about its initial appearance in the Star Wars Rebels animated series or its recent live-action debut in Obi-Wan Kenobi, there is little denying the fact that the Inquisitors have one of the coolest lightsabers in the galaxy (from Amazon).
Tasked with hunting down any Jedi who survived the wrath of Order 66, the Inquisitors are a frightening and intimidating lot whose weapons make them instantly recognizable on the battlefield.
Equipped with two crimson blades that spin around a center ring, these lightsabers not only afford their makers additional protection but an added edge when engaging any Jedi who cross their path.
Mace Windu’s Purple Lightsaber (Attack Of The Clones)

If you thought Mace Windu’s lightsaber sent fans into a tizzy back in 2002, you should have seen what this double-bladed number did when it popped up on the big screen back in 1999.
Up until then, neither Jedi nor Sith had crafted anything more than a simple, single-bladed shaft of light. However, with the release of The Phantom Menace, the brain trust at Lucasfilm dared to throw everything we thought we knew out the window – and how thrilling it was!

Tarre Vizsla’s Darksaber (The Clone Wars)
